Hayley Harper

Hayley was born a fish––sharing a birthday with the likes of Johnny Cash and Erykah Badu––in California's Napa Valley in 1987. She enjoys painting with watercolors and singing Dolly Parton songs.

Portland, OR was home for 8 years before moving to Taos in 2017. Always a creative, it's been here in the high desert where she's finally had the chance to pour herself into the act of creating. Photography has become her primary medium, though she still paints and sings and also takes very long walks.

Nature is her muse. Flowers might be models and landscapes normally seen as background are superimposed and brought to the forefront. The elements that make up our natural world speak the story of everything, and Hayley hopes to capture with her lens some moments from this eternal tale of trees and the moon and the people who live in between it all.
